MW4 Camo Requirements by Mode: Multiplayer, DMZ and Warzone

Many weapon camo challenges can progress across Multiplayer and DMZ, with different kill counts by mode. The final Mastery camo tracks are separate for each mode.

HOW THE REGULAR WEAPON CAMO GRIND WORKS

Military camos unlock as you level each weapon. Special and Completionist challenges can be completed in Multiplayer or DMZ, and progress adjusts to the mode. For example, DMZ challenges may ask for more enemy kills than Multiplayer. Check the exact challenge shown for your weapon in game.

The official progression guide lists the order as Military, Special, Gold, Platinum, Harmonic Break, then Divergence. Requirements vary by weapon class and challenge.

MULTIPLAYER MASTERY CAMOS

• Mercurial Drift: unlock the Mastery 1 challenge by earning Divergence, then get 10 kills in a match 250 times.

• Polyatomic Reforged: after Mercurial Drift, get 3 kills without taking damage 300 times.

• Orion Reforged: after Polyatomic Reforged, get 5 kills without dying 500 times.

DMZ MASTERY CAMOS

• Chiral: unlock the Mastery 1 challenge through Divergence, then get 2,500 Tier 3+ enemy kills.

• Ripple Tide: after Chiral, exfil with 2 LT dog tags in a single deployment 50 times.

• Helio: after Ripple Tide, get 25,000 kills using Legendary Weapons on a Max Level Operator.

WARZONE MASTERY CAMOS

Warzone’s Mastery camos are Parallax, Damascus Reforged and Empyros. Call of Duty still lists their challenge requirements as classified until Season 1. We won’t guess at the numbers; check the in-game challenge and the official progression guide for updates.
